hello everyone!

Introducing....(insert drumroll here)...my new photo blog! Thanks for checking it out!To introduce my self a bit, I live in Providence, RI and looove to take pictures. I work at where I'm lucky enough to be a full time photographer! I have the loveliest  of all lovely clients, who are always super psyched to be engaged, married, new mommies & daddies or anyone else who's experiencing other phenomenal points in life that just NEED to be remembered in photos. How great is that?!At my roots I'm a total film junkie and love my 4x5 Land Camera, beautiful black and white film and printing it by hand in a dark room. (ps. anyone in RI who's looking for a great public darkroom check out AS220's here) I got my BFA from UMass Dartmouth and spent all four years in the darkroom, being a stubborn little baby and refusing to pick up a digital camera. I LOVED those years and still take out my (MANY) film cameras all the time.Now that I shoot commercially I've migrated to digital (I'm a Canon girl) and I love every little bit of it. I guess I love every camera I pick up.... :)Well, enough chatter for now  - here's a little photo intro of me too, I love to cartwheel and everywhere I travel to I always take pictures of my acrobatic bouts. This was last weekend I was in South Kingstown, RI where my friends and I rented a beach house. I know what you're thinking, beach house in February?! But, wait for this....board games, wood stove, an outdoor hot tub and homemade mulled wine. Winter on the beach is super fun!Aaaaaand...wipeoutOne more try....SUCCESS!
